Has anyone else give this wyona's resource module a try?
I think it is great and that it would make a great addition to the trunk
(thanks to wyona's offer). I would love to see the current asset
handling replaced by a resource type such as this.

Would you mind committing it to the trunk (or mind if I committed it)?
One problem that I am experiencing. When I try to request the image
(I uploaded a gif as a mediatype), I get an error in my browser.
Looking at the response, it looks like the raw xml doc is returned
instead of the gif. I didn't see where the gif path was being
matched in the modules sitemap.
Please try the module called "resource" instead, it should work.

Works great! Love that I can easily link to an uploaded image the same
way I would link to another document. Another great feature is the
ability to edit the meta and roll back to previous versions (rollback
usecase appears to be broken currently for all resource types). Now my
images will show up in the search! (I think, I need to svn up to get the
search fix).
