You might want to try eclipse. My eclipse setup is fairly plain
vanilla, but minimizes the license so it does not eat my screen up. It
also minimizes the java imports which can also eat the screen up. Then
there is the debug bonus ;).

to every file, and maybe include the file once per module, or better
yet, only in the trunk root dir?
I don't think this would be in compliance.
