gang,
we need to figure out what we want to do about the failed 1.2.5 release,
and further 1.4 / trunk releases.
clearly the lack of interest within a useful time frame for 1.2.5 is
worrying. after all, this community has not had a release in about 18
months.
I am sorry that I could not give you feedback when you did the rc. I had
no internet at home and at work I ATM working with other products.
i see a couple possible scenarios:
a) we try again with 1.2.5
+1
I volunteer to do the linux testing.
b) we retire the 1.2 branch
IMO we can talk about it when we have a stable 1.4 version released,
before we cannot retire 1.2.
c) we release a new 1.4 release (a1 was the last one)
+1
i think we should do a, followed by b and c.
IMO should be a) c) and then b).
other ideas, comments?
+1 to all. Except b) should be *after* we set 1.4 as the stable release.
Best Regards,
Antonio Gallardo.
