That is really strange and shows the actual state of the community.
I have to admit that I didn't take a look at the 1.2 branch for quite
a long time, but I'll invest some time in basic Mac OS X testing.
I did some testing on Mac OS X, it looks quite good (I reported
some minor issues in Bugzilla).
i am sure it is quite ok on unix-based systems. i just could not get
it to work on windows with reasonable effort. i suspect few people
care about a windows release, so lets just drop it, release 1.2.5 and
call it a day.
We should ping our user list first.
