current list of remote participants:

I did confirm the reservation today for 11/12/13 July. There is room for
about 20 people. If it turned out that much more will participate I will
try to get a bigger room. However I think we will not be more than 10.
I will check for the the technical infrastructur next week.
/me volunteers to set up a video link based on ogg theora for the remmote
partipants, provided a fast machine can be obtained in zurich and there is a
stable uplink of at least 500kbit/s.
What do you mean by a fast maschine. Is a new apple mac book fast enough?
remote participants could use IRC to contribute - local attendants would see
their postings on a screen and could just speak without having to type.
(we've been doing stuff like that at the past linux audio conferences, and
it's been fun and quite productive.)
should we announce this meeting on the users list? i'm all for it, but i
wanted to hear your opinions before tackling it.
+1 but we should reserve one day for devs.
if we do, it should be made clear that the focus is on 1.4 development and
future plans, and that there is not going to be an installfest or user
tutorials. (not that it wouldn't be nice, but that's for later imho, when
we've proceeded on our way to web domination :)
+1
