           Summary: Live Tab link in authoring mode is generated with a
                    fully qualified URL
           Product: Lenya
           Version: 1.2.5
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: Navigation Framework
        AssignedTo: [email protected]
        ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

This may sound like Bug 42050 - at least in searching for similar problems I
stumbled on that bug, yet it doesn't match this version of lenya.

This bug affects Lenya 1.2.5 In any publication while in authoring mode, the
Live Tab link is generated with a fully qualified URL, including the hostname.
This sucks when you are proxying (via apache) the Lenya site - the
fully-qualified URL gets passed through and no proxying occurs. As I firewall
access to the Jetty to all but apache this means that my 'live' tab link is dead
to anyone clicking on it from their broswer.

This what the generated html looks like in the default pub for the tabs in a
test installation I did today. I gave up and went back to Lenya 1.2.4 where
this problem does not exist:
<a href="/default/admin/index.html" target="_self"><span>admin</span>
<a href="/default/info-authoring/index.html" target="_self"><span>Site</span>
<a href="/default/authoring/index.html"><span>authoring</span>
<a href="http://t1webtest.triumf.ca:8888/default/live/index.html";
target="_blank">

 cheers, etc.
