The file is still in svn. I checked their dev list and there is no
mention of the bug, so I've opened a ticket. We really should move over
to a stable version.

I agree.  Being so close to a 2.0 release (I hope so, anyway), there
is probably little reason *not* to switch the svn:external now, if
others agree.

fine with me. but i'd need to learn how to switch externals... if anybody knows how it's done, go ahead. i think we had consensus about this a while ago...
