Hi Lenya devs,
I'm more and more annoyed by the verbose syntax of the page-envelope
module. Does someone mind if we introduce an additional alias? E.g.
page
Additionally, shorter versions of the attribute names would also be very
helpful, e.g.
pub-id
Do you consider this useful, or is it more important to avoid the
additional confusion?
i don't like this too much...
having multiple ways of saying the same thing creates confusion for
newbies (because they might think there are subtle differences), and
it's redundant, syntactic sugar...
if we wanted to change it, we should rip out the old names and introduce
short ones in one clean cut (which means breaking things) - but that's
not worth it imho.
sitemap syntax and parameter passing will always be slightly ugly, and i
think the page envelope module can't do much about that...
the way i see it, the problem is the passing of urls, which means no
whitespace, which in turn means poor readability.
