ATM the directory structure on the zones server makes it quite hard to maintain the CMS.

How about the following structure?

~lenya
 /docu
   /apache-tomcat-5.5.26
     /conf/Catalina/localhost/docu.xml (points to webapp)
   /lenya
     /trunk
       /build/lenya/webapp
     /docu
       /pubs
       /modules
   /data
     /docu
       /content
       /access-control
         /passwd
         /policies
       /lucene
         /index
     /… (other publications to come)

This structure allows us to do a "build clean" without caring about losing productive data.

How do we handle changes in usecase-policies.xml? That file is editable via gui but will need to be edited for new modules.

The data directory will be backed up Jörn using rsync.

WDYT?

+1

Jürgen
