IMO we should stick with 1.4 in 2.2-dev until it is kind-of stable, then it's fine with me to move to 1.5. I'm not quite sure what the implications are – if we want to leverage 1.5 properly, do we have to consider updating the API to use generics etc.? How do other projects handle this?

i'm asking since we should
take the chance to upgrade our jetty along - the version we're shipping
in svn is quite old and something related to proxying (i forgot what,
but it'll probably bite me tomorrow while i'm migrating a deployment) is
broken.

The version Felix checked in uses the Jetty maven plug-in version 6.1.12. I guess it's the same as Cocoon 2.2 uses.

i've been running jetty6 with lenya 2.0.1 for a while, using a slightly
hackish command line, because the default start scripts broke. how about
moving to jetty6 for 2.0-next? that would allow us to get better testing
for the proxying scenario...

+0 from me (like the idea, but won't have time to help – too busy with 2.2 atm).

or maybe i'm talking out-of-my-rearside since it's been a while i've
worked with lenya...

:)

Glad that you're back!
