Devs,
I am pleased to announce that Alexander Sizemin has been selected to
work on the XML Diff functionality for a Google Summer of Code project.
I will be his mentor for this project. I would like to thank all
students that submitted a proposal this year. If you are looking to
become involved with the Lenya project outside of GSoC, we certainly
have ways for you to do so.
I know that some of you have mentored GSoC students in the past, and I
would appreciate any help and / or advice.
We are in the community bonding phase. So now is the time for us to get
to know Alexander, and for he to get to know us. The coding officially
begins May 23rd.
So welcome Alexander. Make sure you are subscribed to the dev list if
you aren't already. I will send some of the logistical information out
in another email today or tomorrow.
