no, in terms of a first working prototype of lenya mobile, we left a bit after you. I prepared a small summary of the meeting. Well a bit of me coming to the whole event but since I meet quite familiar people I reckon to share with the whole community and tell you how it is being part of such a great community. - first day: I left home around 15:00 on saturday in Sevilla. I drove to Malaga to take the flight to Basel and I got picked up around 22:30 from Rudolf. Big thanks here on all your hospitality during the whole 4 days and I am really grateful! Especially organising now 4 lenya community events perfectly, you proven to be a big cornerstone for this project. . seond day: I spend a very nice day with rudolf and his wife (very nice person as well!) . We had lunch in an exclusive german restaurant and being a german living in spain I really enjoyed the food a lot. We had a quite beer since we needed to get up at 5:30 (!!!) in the morning. -third day: well me getting up at 5:30 I am not the same person. After a hard day (like said not the same person) of doing a consulting job for the Uniklinikum Freiburg we picked up Florent (the frensh guy ;) ) from the train station. Had a nice dinner and a couple of beers. jeje and Jägermeister ;) The moon is a source of energy for me. -fourth day: Well me and the frensh guy arrived a bit late, but meeting started at 10:00. There had been in total 9 people attending and we started the day about discussing the future of lenya. To mention the attends backgrounds coming from one company, there have been beCompany (Andrea and Sibylle), EPO(Ben,Gerd und Hans), Uniklinikum Freiburg (Martin and Rudolf) and Uni Zurich. We agreed there that we are currently best of with sticking with current 2 and not trying a rewrite to use e.g. c3. We had lunch and then we started the work with some presentation about latest works wwith lenya/cocoon. I started to show the WURFL module which can be found in the lenya-extras module (actually nearly all modules presented that day can now be found there). Actually we need a separte mail to introduce the lenya-extra repo if nobody beats me to it I will wrap up something the next days. After that me an Vik showed a multiplatform mobile app which uses c3 (cocoon 3) as middle tier to connect to a ejb data layer. Then Rudolf introduced us to the power of publication templating, he runs around 200-300 pubs on a single lenya instance, and a couple of nice modules which inject widget like functionality to the page. After that the "EPO guys" Hans and Gerd presented some new tiny 3 integrations as editors allowing as in firedos multiple editorable forms in one view, Follwed by a gallery integration via flicker. ...in the end we ended up having a nice dinner and I ended up with the english and the french guy sitting and talking. There the frensh guy and me dreamed about to make lenya mobile and due to my recent mobile work I saw a simple approach. Due to a missing internet connection and the fact it was quite late we did not started the work but went to bed. -fith day: well andy, florent, vik and me arrived not at 10:00 but shortly after. We organised groups for the hackathon we had that day and started the work of a new templating pub and a first step on lenya mobile. Since we had all the resources there we have been committed a lot of code to the extras rep and both developments are still in progress and need review and proper introduction. so to come back to the initial question of the french guy we still need to fix the generator call (create a generator that generates a SAX stream from String - see c3 for that . or rethink the approach to use the same api firedoc does). salu2
