Agree that this is an awesome idea. I also like the idea of a larger set of contributors on the back of the shirt. Maybe to be fair, go with the top 50 contributors <https://github.com/apache/libcloud/graphs/contributors>, or anyone with 5+ commits.
I'm also happy to dig up some sponsorship funding and am even willing to contribute out of pocket too.
