Hi victor,
I have traying to install the Swedish spell checker using dictinstall_0.9.3.2 in my OOo ver 1.9.79 (Beta 2.0).
My Computer enviroment is a Win XP with SP2.
This does not work for over 2 weeks now.
The same happens if I try to do this on a OOo ver 1.1.4.
did you try DicOOo ? Files > autopilot > install new dictionaries
If i remember correctly, The menu was broken for the 1.9.79 try to launch <ooo>/share/dict/ooo/DicOOo.sxw manually this should work
