Hallo all,
I've developed a quick prototype of a new function, which helps the
Czech users with typo rules like nonbreaking spaces, ... It means - user
can write document without typo rules, he can hit the Vlnka button,
configure Vlnka function, hit OK and wait for the corrections. Results
dialog display where and what was modified.
You can download the package at:
o http://tmp.vojta.name/Vlnka.zip
And the testing document at:
o http://tmp.vojta.name/Vlnka.odt
Download the package, install it via:
/opt/openoffice.org1.9.97/program/unopkg add Vlnka.zip
Or use the Tools -> Package manager -> Add for installation. You have
to restart OpenOffice.org and then, you'll see the Czech menu item
between Tools and Window. Visible only in the Writer. Open my testing
document or any other, hit the Wavelet item (or icon from the toolbar),
configure Vlnka (= Wavelet in english), hit OK, and you'll see how your
document is being corrected.
This prototype is in Python, so, you need pyuno installed. Package is
partially translated to the EN, so, you can understand basic principles.
My question is - anyone is working on similiar feature for the OO.o?
If yes, where I can find more info? Is it worth to internationalize my
prototype, so, each language can use own typo rules? Is it worth to
rewrite prototype to C++ and include it in the OO.o? Any other comments?
Regards,
Robert
