and work there.

Indic Transliterator works for _some_ languages.
The downside is that it requires one to type using the Latin Writing System.  
It will display/paste the correct characters/glyphs in the correct places.

Indic Keybord layouts are helpful, if you don't want to use Indic
Transliterator.

I think FontOOo includes some Indus Valley writing system fonts.
