Hi,

We are working in a brazilian portuguese grammar checker and our aim is to integrate it to open office. We are near to have an alfa zero version of our grammar checker similar to other projects such as gramadoir. So the next step is to integrate it to openoffice.
A person of our team (Edgard) has been working on this integration for some months and he is in step 1:

  1. Extend OpenOffice.org so it can integrate an external grammar checker, similar to the way spell checkers are integrated. This is currently (August 2005) being worked on.
This work has been much more difficult than we previously foresaw.
So we would like to join you in this same effort.
We are working with brazilian funds; and we are commited to sharing code.
Perhaps you are in a much more advanced stage than us.
Would you comment how are you going?
How can we work together?

Best regards
Jorge Kinoshita.
