Kaixo!
It seems that in order to add spell checker support to OpenOffice.org
it is needed to hardocode some values in the sources themselves
(it works well if I pretend to be some other, already existent
language,
which means the dictionnary itself is ok; but OOo seems unable to
find a new dictionnary).
The page http://lingucomponent.openoffice.org/dictionary.html
says to "contact me", but without any indication of whom that "me" is,
nor any email address either.
I find your email on some mailing list archives, so, I would ask you
if you can add recognition of walloon language dictionnary.
the language code is "wa", country code "BE"; the line to put
in dictionary.lst would therefore be
DICT wa BE wa
for the files wa.dic and wa.aff, you can get the aspell-
wa-0.4.11.tar.bz2
file from http://chanae.walon.org/walon/aspell.php and do "make
wa_dic"
it will create the wa.dic file; for wa.aff, you can just copy the
aspell file wa_affix.dat as wa.aff, the format is the same.
There is also a "README" file on the archive; the license is LGPL
Do you prefer that I made a special archive with only those files
(wa.dic, wa.aff, README, LGPL)?
If you need some other info (like weekday and month names in walloon,
etc), please tell me.
You can reach me by Jabber: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Thanks
