hi. i was wondering about the user defined dictionaries and how it can be a medium for users to contribute to the development of their own language.
Users who would like to help in expanding the word list for their particular dictionary/spell checker language, would find it easier if they could add user defined dictionaries and then export whatever list they may be able to accumulate so that it can be added to the current .dic file available at the OOo wiki. this is something that OOo already provides. However, there seems to be a problem with how the user defined dictionary is saved as evident in the screenshot below. screenshot Is this a problem with the text editor or note/word pad, or the way OOo saves user defined dictionaries? If we could find a way to change the way the user defined dictionaries are displayed, then it would be much easier for willing users to help in the development of their own respective language. that way, when doing a spell check, and they encounter words that aren't included, they could just add them to the user defined dictionary for their language, and when they gather a lot, export this into a text file or something, which could be added to the wordlist for their particular language.
