It could be nice to get the very same proposals for incorrect text in applications. But probably the idea what a good spell checker or grammar checker is is much different for each user and/or application. Also even in the case of sharing the dictionaries only it would be nice if that server could also take care of user dictionaries as well. After all even if currently in some distributions the dictionaries are shared between Firefox, Thunderbird, OOo and whatever, I'm pretty sure that does not apply for personal dictionaries. And thus it still is a major hazzle if one tries to keep them the same for all applications... Thus for the very least I like to have such a dictionary server that also takes care of the user dictionaries!
