Hi All, Long back Laurent have helped me in putting Marathi spell checker dictionary upstream in OOo repository.
Now I solicit help in creating affix and hyphenation rules/files for Marathi spell checker dictionary. Please note that our (Indian) scripts fall under CTL (Complex Text Layout) scripts, which used multi-byte encoding system. With reference to http://lingucomponent.openoffice.org/affix.readme, it says "All occurrences of multi-byte characters must be converted to their single byte encoding using the ISO-8859-1 character set in the affix file and the wordlist." But the existing wordlist file has utf-8 encoding. I am bit worried about CTL scripts, how those would be handled under base dictionary of OOo? I am attaching the affix.readme file for reference.
