Hi Michel, >From the beginning the GC Framework was a project of the kind "that's not our area of expertise, so let's make an API for others to plug in". We wanted to make the API as simple as possible, especially we wanted to bring it into the working space of the target developers where strings, sentences and plain, simple paragraphs are used and not the very complex and hierarchical text structurew and API of OOo (that of course is necessary for many other things).
With two extensions nearly done and another one in the making just when the API is finalized I think that things went better than we could expect! I'm planning to get something into our blog also.
