>- see footer for list info -< I would get a new server and put MX on that, then test the client applications and make live when ready, and then decommission the old server (or keep it there just in case!). ----- Original Message ----- From: James Buckingham To: '[EMAIL PROTECTED]' Sent: Friday, November 19, 2004 1:09 PM Subject: [CF-Dev] Upgrading from CF5.0 to CF MX
>- see footer for list info -< Hi guys, Sorry in advance for this as I'm sure this question has been asked countless times before. Typically though I've just emptied out all my old newsgroup emails so I don't have any reference material anymore :-( We're looking at upgrading our hosting server's copy of Cold Fusion 5.0 to MX 6.1. Before we go ahead and do this though how 'smooth' have people found the upgrade process? Is there anything we should be aware of before we proceed? We have three of our larger clients working on this server just now and I don't want to risk anything going wrong with these. Cheers, JamesB _______________________________________________ For details on ALL mailing lists and for joining or leaving lists, go to http://list.cfdeveloper.co.uk/mailman/listinfo -- CFDeveloper Sponsors:- >- Hosting provided by www.cfmxhosting.co.uk -< >- Forum provided by www.fusetalk.com -< >- DHTML Menus provided by www.APYCOM.com -< >- Lists hosted by www.Gradwell.com -< >- CFdeveloper is run by Russ Michaels, feel free to volunteer your help -< _______________________________________________ For details on ALL mailing lists and for joining or leaving lists, go to http://list.cfdeveloper.co.uk/mailman/listinfo -- CFDeveloper Sponsors:- >- Hosting provided by www.cfmxhosting.co.uk -< >- Forum provided by www.fusetalk.com -< >- DHTML Menus provided by www.APYCOM.com -< >- Lists hosted by www.Gradwell.com -< >- CFdeveloper is run by Russ Michaels, feel free to volunteer your help -<
