Subject: [work] [CF-Dev] Output to excel

>- see footer for list info -<
I need to output some data to an excel spreadsheet. I want the user to be
able to see the sheet on the screen and either print it or save it as an
excel file.

I have this (from livedocs)

<!--- use cfsetting to block output of HTML outside of cfoutput tags --->
<cfsetting enablecfoutputonly="Yes">
<cfcontent type="application/msexcel">
<cfheader name="Content-Disposition" value="filename=Test.xls"> --->
<cfoutput><table></cfoutput>
<!--- HEADER --->
<cfoutput>
<tr>
<td>Cell A1</td><td>Cell A2</td>
</tr>

<tr>
<td>Cell b1</td>
<td>Cell b2</td>
<td>cell b3</td>
<td>cell b4</td>
</tr>
</cfoutput>
<cfoutput></table></cfoutput>

This only shows the data on the screen in HTML. How do I make this appear as
an excel spread sheet? (the CFsetting as yes or no doesn't seem to make any
difference)

Regards - Paul
