>- see footer for list info -< Hello Coldfusion, I can't remember the last time I had to babysit my MX6.1 box on w2k... I think it all comes down to your experience running and maintaining servers. We run a straight CFMX/SQL/Mailenable/Serv-U boxes and I think from memory the only time I've rebooted is due to windows upadates... We get millions of hits across all of our clients. From memory I had more issues with 4.5 and 5 then MX. Even MX7RC is looks really solid on our dev server.
Kind regards, Christopher Dawes Dawes International ----- >>- see footer for list info -< > However you may find it will require a far greater level of support / > equipment and the database connectivity is not as stable as 5. > MX is good but it requires a lot more babysitting. > -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Mark Smyth > Sent: 07 February 2005 09:54 > To: 'Coldfusion Development' > Subject: RE: [CF-Dev] CFMX 7 Available >>- see footer for list info -< > Hi Gordon >>From the mouth of Tim Buntel, Macromedia > "By the way, if you're still on version 4 or version 5, you're missing out > on some dramatic performance and scalability gains (ColdFusion MX 6.1 is up > to 23 times faster than older versions).
