>- see footer for list info -< Note the genius that is the Macromedia forums and knowledge base search:
1. You search for something and have to set up so many selections that you get bored of checking boxes, selecting dates, and so on and so forth. 2. Your search for something as generic as "cfmail" returns only one, completely irrelevant result. 3. There is no opportunity to amend your search criteria. You have to go back and check all those boxes again, select dates, take away the number you first thought of and try again with an even more generic search term. 4. Try searching on the following terms: "email AND characters". You will get one result. JUST ONE??? One match for those two words appearing in the same post, any post, over the last two years? One? Then try searching on "characters". Guess what? One bloody result. ONE! And even worse, it's not the one from the above search! Now I may not be a genius... and I may not be the best person to talk to when it comes to using search engines in an efficient way (I'm more of a two word searcher, and spend hours trawling through thousands of results), but please! This is ridiculous. Is it me, or are Macromedia's "Support" and "Developers" sections on their website, a complete and utter %$"&% waste of ^&%$^@ space?
