>- see footer for list info -< I am using W2K IIS and CF 5.0 on my webserver
Everything was working fine until I enabled Active Directory on the web server. Now a logon window pops up and asks for a username/password all the time. I then enabled anonymous access in the website properties, and unchecked "Integrated Windows Authentication" This stopped the logon window, but I get a "HTTP 401.3 error - Acces denied by ACL on resource Internet Information Services" This only happens with ColdFusion though, ASP and html files get processed fine. I do not want to disable Active Directory, but what do I do? I already have the services ColdFusion Application Server, ColdFusion Executive and ColdFusion Graphing Server running as Administrator. I changed it from LocalSystem (is that a good thing to do, or am I opening security holes?), but I still get the 401.3 ASP and HTML files get processed fine, so I think it's CF not having sufficient rights to parse or execute... what do you think? _______________________________________________ For details on ALL mailing lists and for joining or leaving lists, go to http://list.cfdeveloper.co.uk/mailman/listinfo -- CFDeveloper Sponsors:- >- Hosting provided by www.cfmxhosting.co.uk -< >- Forum provided by www.fusetalk.com -< >- DHTML Menus provided by www.APYCOM.com -< >- Lists hosted by www.Gradwell.com -< >- CFdeveloper is run by Russ Michaels, feel free to volunteer your help -<
