>- see footer for list info -< Well at least they don't process duplicates - one of the problems with worldpay was that we got 30+ fraudulent transactions on the same cart ID - you can't stop the system processing more than 1 on each cart ID.
We then had to refund each transaction (each time we refund it costs us as worldpay still take their 4.5%). Here is an issue we currently have with ST: 1) We send securetrading credit card details 2) If address or cv2 are incorrect, they flag the transaction as successful, and it will settle 3) We recieve the information back, but we cannot instantly reverse the payment because of ST server delays, so we schedule the reversal, and ask the user to check their address/cv2 details 4) If the user then enters correct data, ST sends us data indicating that everything was matched, but then later on, ST flags the transaction as a duplicate, even though the address/cv2 details have now changed. 5) The scheduler then reverses the first transaction which had incorrect address/cv2, but the second transaction (all data correct) is never settled because ST has marked it as a duplicate. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of Tomo Sent: 06 April 2005 12:17 To: Coldfusion Development Subject: Re: [CF-Dev] OT: alternatives to Worldpay >- see footer for list info -< You could have a look at securetrading... I've not used it for a while but it was a piece of cake to set up... And you might want to think about all your payments being made through a cf module... that way if you change payment gateways, you only need to change one file, and the site will still work in the same way!** Giles wrote: >>- see footer for list info -< >> >> >We've been using Worldpay for a while and for the most part have been happy >with them. >Recently we have had a lot of fraudulent transactions on our site and >Worldpay have been quite awkward about how some of it has been happened and >we are now having to jump through lots of loops to get paid for each order. > >Are there any alternatives that offer a similar interface to Worldpay? > >I don't want to switch as this will mean re-jigging all of the stuff that >talks to worldpay ect. > >Any advice welcome. > >Thanks > >Giles Roadnight >http://giles.roadnight.name > > >_______________________________________________ > >For details on ALL mailing lists and for joining or leaving lists, go to http://list.cfdeveloper.co.uk/mailman/listinfo > >-- >CFDeveloper Sponsors:- > > >>- Hosting provided by www.cfmxhosting.co.uk -< >>- Forum provided by www.fusetalk.com -< >>- DHTML Menus provided by www.APYCOM.com -< >>- Lists hosted by www.Gradwell.com -< >>- CFdeveloper is run by Russ Michaels, feel free to volunteer your help -< >> >> > > > _______________________________________________ For details on ALL mailing lists and for joining or leaving lists, go to http://list.cfdeveloper.co.uk/mailman/listinfo -- CFDeveloper Sponsors:- >- Hosting provided by www.cfmxhosting.co.uk -< >- Forum provided by www.fusetalk.com -< >- DHTML Menus provided by www.APYCOM.com -< >- Lists hosted by www.Gradwell.com -< >- CFdeveloper is run by Russ Michaels, feel free to volunteer your help -< _______________________________________________ For details on ALL mailing lists and for joining or leaving lists, go to http://list.cfdeveloper.co.uk/mailman/listinfo -- CFDeveloper Sponsors:- >- Hosting provided by www.cfmxhosting.co.uk -< >- Forum provided by www.fusetalk.com -< >- DHTML Menus provided by www.APYCOM.com -< >- Lists hosted by www.Gradwell.com -< >- CFdeveloper is run by Russ Michaels, feel free to volunteer your help -< _______________________________________________ For details on ALL mailing lists and for joining or leaving lists, go to http://list.cfdeveloper.co.uk/mailman/listinfo -- CFDeveloper Sponsors:- >- Hosting provided by www.cfmxhosting.co.uk -< >- Forum provided by www.fusetalk.com -< >- DHTML Menus provided by www.APYCOM.com -< >- Lists hosted by www.Gradwell.com -< >- CFdeveloper is run by Russ Michaels, feel free to volunteer your help -<
