>- see footer for list info -< I have to comment on Fusetalk. Make sure you also have plenty of time to spend supporting it, tweaking it, fixing it. The way fusetalk works by default will drive most of your users away and drive you up the wall. We have supplied Fusetalk to several clients and they all complained about it and didn't get on with it and said their users didn't like it. You also have to purcahse a fusetalk support plan as standard, and the support you get from them is also rather lacking. IT is the biggest, most expensive solution, but unless you need all the features it has and want to spend the time getting them to work, I would stay away from it.
The one big problem everyone has had is that their forum just says it is empty and there are no messages. By default fusetalk only displays messages for the last 2 months, if there are none newer than this rather than telling you this, it just tells you the forum is empty. Thus users don't use it and don't come back as they have no idea they need to change their settings and just think u have a dead forum. And even worse the fusetalk support staff themselves couldn't even tell our customers the reason for their forums displaying no posts. We had to go and figure it out for them. So rather annoying that we have to support fusetalk and our customers even though they paid for support directly from fusetalk themselves. It's basically just not very user friendly.
