Hi Paul,
Using CF's built in security after logging in they will be sent either to
the directory specified in the login dialogue, or to the page they were
trying to get to in the first place. That happens by default.
Hope this helps, Jenny

I have an application and the client has asked for the following...
"Modify current system login to return the user to the page they were last
looking at when logged out and re login"
What they are asking for is when the application variable times out and
the user is logged out at present they are sent to the login page and then
after successful login they are sent to the default page. How can I return
the user to the page they were last looking at? I think this is a job for
a cookie. The problem is not all of our users allow cookies.
So. are cookies the best way to go?
Is there some facility in CF that I can use to do this?
IS this best done by writing something to the database to track the page
the user is looking at? (sounds unecconomical this ..)
Any ideas code snippets?
Regards - Paul
