I'm sure there are some little apps that you could use, or even a web
service out there that would do it...

But what about using <CFHTTP> to make a call to the domain?  I wonder
if the IP is in the vars (cfhttp structure) returned?

If it is, you could use the tag directly, or make yourself a custom
tag, or CFC that would be a wrapper and make the call for you.  This
is more scalable.
