I have been given a 670mb PDF file which is basically just a scan of a
huge manual.
Does anyone know of software capable of OCR'ing the whole shebang
reliably and saving as editable PDF, Word and HTML?
Going back to this.... A client of mine has just been singing Omnipage
15's praises for converting from PDF to word.
http://www.nuance.com/omnipage/
Apparently has about a 99% success rate and copes with a lot of
non-latin characters too.
