Nothing mentioned about a non expiring auto login in original post, just your angle on it (often there is a 90 day limit on those remember me things), and if that was required then clearly client variables would not be the way to go. I even asked whether this was not correct earlier, I'm not making out to know that it is the right thing to do. But it does work and I have used it in exactly the circumstance that the original posted question was referring to. Was a simple suggestion so please chill the **** out.
