dump of application scope is no longer useful? i.e. I know what it will dump out, but I dont know if CF now has 2 apps running. For 2: yeah tried that too, no joy here either. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of Adrian Lynch Sent: 03 February 2006 17:53 To: Coldfusion Development Subject: RE: [CF-Dev] cfapplications >- see footer for list info -< For 1, dump the APPLICATION scope and you'll see ApplicationName as a key. For 2, I'd say there's a way with the service factory. This looked promising but it's empty when I test it: <cfscript> obj = CreateObject("JAVA", "coldfusion.server.ServiceFactory"); </cfscript> <cfdump var="#obj.getRuntimeService().getApplications()#"> Adrian -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of Jim Sent: 03 February 2006 17:34 To: Coldfusion Development Subject: [CF-Dev] cfapplications >- see footer for list info -< Couple of questions I cant find the answer to on google: 1) if an application.cfm (with no application name attribute) includes another application.cfm file (with name attribute), do you get an unnamed application, or as far as CF is concerned, does it run "as" the named application? 2) in order to discover this, I wanted to get the names of all applications running on a server, but I cant find the answer to that.... anyone know? _______________________________________________ For details on ALL mailing lists and for joining or leaving lists, go to http://list.cfdeveloper.co.uk/mailman/listinfo -- CFDeveloper Sponsors:- >- Hosting provided by www.cfmxhosting.co.uk -< >- Forum provided by www.fusetalk.com -< >- DHTML Menus provided by www.APYCOM.com -< >- Lists hosted by www.Gradwell.com -< >- CFdeveloper is run by Russ Michaels, feel free to volunteer your help -< _______________________________________________ For details on ALL mailing lists and for joining or leaving lists, go to http://list.cfdeveloper.co.uk/mailman/listinfo -- CFDeveloper Sponsors:- >- Hosting provided by www.cfmxhosting.co.uk -< >- Forum provided by www.fusetalk.com -< >- DHTML Menus provided by www.APYCOM.com -< >- Lists hosted by www.Gradwell.com -< >- CFdeveloper is run by Russ Michaels, feel free to volunteer your help -<
