if you used cffile, there's interesting discussion on comments to the url here, also list of all parameters available after most recent file upload eg "#cffile.fileExisted#" or #cffile.fileWasSaved# http://livedocs.macromedia.com/coldfusion/6.1/htmldocs/tags-p35.htm#wp354009 1 re large files, "jrunrandy said on Mar 14, 2005 at 1:40 PM : There are many variables that determine the file-size limit. My understanding is that available JVM memory is the most important one. You might try adjusting the -Xmx512m in the java.args line of cf_root/runtime/bin/jvm.config to something larger. If that doesn't work, I suggest posting your question to the online forums: http:webforums.macromedia.com/coldfusion." cheers, -Colm -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of Snake Sent: 30 March 2006 00:55 To: 'Coldfusion Development' Subject: [spam] RE: [CF-Dev] Blank file >- see footer for list info -< Was the file originally rather large? I have had some disastrous problems with DWMX and large files, it has totally messed them up. I have also had problems when saving over RDS, that the file doesn't save properly and is thus blank, are you using RDS? If I open it in dream weaver its blank. I have had this problem a few times with dreamweaver blanking files ... Agghhh. anyway the problem is I have no idea when it was last updated to try and find the file on our backup tapes (if its actually there). The pages still run as the file must be cached somewhere. Even CTRL refresh doesn't upset it ..... So.... Is there anyway of getting the code back? I can see the HTML code via view source. Is there anyway I can get the CFM code returned..? I really don't want to even attempt to rewrite these pages and trace what stuff is being passed around where .... :-( Regards - Paul _______________________________________________ For details on ALL mailing lists and for joining or leaving lists, go to http://list.cfdeveloper.co.uk/mailman/listinfo -- CFDeveloper Sponsors:- >- Hosting provided by www.cfmxhosting.co.uk -< >- Forum provided by www.fusetalk.com -< >- DHTML Menus provided by www.APYCOM.com -< >- Lists hosted by www.Gradwell.com -< >- CFdeveloper is run by Russ Michaels, feel free to volunteer your help >-< _______________________________________________ For details on ALL mailing lists and for joining or leaving lists, go to http://list.cfdeveloper.co.uk/mailman/listinfo -- CFDeveloper Sponsors:- >- Hosting provided by www.cfmxhosting.co.uk -< >- Forum provided by www.fusetalk.com -< >- DHTML Menus provided by www.APYCOM.com -< >- Lists hosted by www.Gradwell.com -< >- CFdeveloper is run by Russ Michaels, feel free to volunteer your help -< _______________________________________________ For details on ALL mailing lists and for joining or leaving lists, go to http://list.cfdeveloper.co.uk/mailman/listinfo -- CFDeveloper Sponsors:- >- Hosting provided by www.cfmxhosting.co.uk -< >- Forum provided by www.fusetalk.com -< >- DHTML Menus provided by www.APYCOM.com -< >- Lists hosted by www.Gradwell.com -< >- CFdeveloper is run by Russ Michaels, feel free to volunteer your help -<
