Well, I did offer the name of the function. :-) While one could certainly
override it on a page basis, I was just proposing a fix that made things
work the way the docs said they would. :-) But you offer a good idea.

couldn't you just find out the name of the function and then write your own
version in your page after the MM one has been declared, thereby effectively
overwriting the original MM version?
