ColdFusion Developer Surrey, England £25k to £30k p.a Quartus Solutions provides a unique combination of enterprise compliance management software and services that enable customers to reduce risk and meet their compliance requirements. Our successful track record is underpinned by in-depth understanding and knowledge of the risk and compliance issues. As our web-based compliance application is close to release, we are now looking for an experienced developer to help take our application from final development to full production release. That will be first stage; from there the successful candidate will be part of an expanding team responsible for growing the application into one of the dominant players in the compliance market. This is an exciting time to join Quartus as we prepare to take a new application to market. We have a strong, successful management team focused on taking the company forward and delivering a feature rich, best-in-class application to our clients. We welcome applications from computer science / business computing graduates with at least one year's experience, or applications from non - graduates with at least three years' experience in a development role using: * ColdFusionMX 7 * Flex * JavaScript * SQL & SQL Server * HTML / CSS / DHTML The ideal candidate will have knowledge or experience of MS SQL Server 2000+ and Oracle 9 admin and development, *nix-type (Linux, Solaris) and Windows server operating systems. Candidates with similar experience in other scripting languages such as PHP would also be considered, but the role is that of a CF developer. Preferably you will have experience of working within web application development and architecture as part of a multi-disciplined software engineering team. You will need to be a team player who enjoys being involved in the decision process but who can work unsupervised to tight deadlines. This is a permanent position with an initial 3 month trial period. Contractors would be considered with a view to a permanent placement. Candidates must be eligible to work in the United Kingdom.
