Hi Lee,

I assume you mean <cfchart ... >, since <cfgraph ..> has been deprecated,
right?

CF saves a temp file, but you can easily make it permanent, from the
livedocs at
http://livedocs.macromedia.com/coldfusion/6.1/htmldocs/tags-a11.htm :

"To write a chart to a file, use the name attribute in cfchart to save the
chart to a variable and write the data to a file with cffile, as in the
following example. Note that the charset="ISO-8859-1" attribute is required.

<cffile action="WRITE" file="C:/temp/mytest.jpg" output="#mydatavariable#"
charset="ISO-8859-1"> "

Regards,
Marc.

Hi All,

Is it possible to capture / download / save a CFGraph item from a web page
and use it in a word document. Reason being I have a really nice graph on
a
website I want to put in a tender document we are producing for a new bit
of
business and it would be cool for them to have the document in front of
them
and for it to build automatically.

Although thinking about it the graph is on a later page so the build (if
it
did) would happen before the user actually got to the page, oh well,
interesting query anyway.

Does CF save the file in a temp area on the server?
