I think Paul must be using isDefined() to validate on the session variables existence. Although not an error it lets this through http://www.bgfl.org/cfpages/bullying/_report.cfm?repid=1&session.user=admin& session.dfesno=00001 Surprising right?? Since CFMX you can scope url variables to mimic scoped variables... which amazingly foxes isDefined() and opens up a nice big hole Good news is that using structKeyExists() instead to validate scoped variables does not allow this to happen. Just have to get round to telling Adobe about it... Mark PS Paul, it's a 2 second alteration hope you don't mind me posting this up. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Alex Skinner Sent: 16 October 2006 14:13 To: 'Coldfusion Development' Subject: RE: [CF-Dev] Grouping and formatting ...? >- see footer for list info -< Also have you made sure the data coming back is ordered first by IncidentIDPK Otherwise it wont work Alex -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Duncan Cumming Sent: 16 October 2006 13:27 To: [email protected] Subject: RE: [CF-Dev] Grouping and formatting ...? >- see footer for list info -< don't you mean: <cfoutput query="report1" group="IncidentIDPK"> <h2>#IncidentIDPK#</h2> <cfoutput> yourfields here </cfoutput> </cfoutput> Duncan Cumming New Media Developer Customer Relations Management / Education Fife Council 700 4105 / 01592 414105 >>> [EMAIL PROTECTED] 16/10/2006 13:00 >>> >- see footer for list info -< Under each section you just need to do a grouped cfouput, grouping by the column that you wish to use as a heading. I want to display a report like this Incident Ref No Racist Homophobic Disabilist Religiously Motivated Cyber Other 414 1 1 1 0 0 1 I have 3 tables joined to get the data tblincidents IncidentIDPK DFESNO IncidentDate tblIncidentToBullying BullyingTypeIDPK IncidentIDFK BullyingTypeIDFK tblBullyingTypes BullyingTypeIDPK BullyingType FormPosition It could be (and probably will be) that there are several types of bullying for each incident (hence the incident to bullying table. So the output might produce something like : Incident 414 Racists Homophobic Other I then want this to arrange on one line so that its shown (and counted) as one incident!
