The variable you probably want is CGI.HTTPS. The values it contains depends on the server - to indicate false, Apache uses [blank] and IIS uses "off".
So, in your members/index.cfm you could do: <cfif Len(CGI.HTTPS) AND CGI.HTTPS NEQ "off"> And then do a cflocation... <cflocation url="https:#Request.CurrentPage#"/> Where CurrentPage would be along the lines of: <cfset Request.CurrentPage = "//" & CGI.HTTP_HOST & CGI.CONTEXT_PATH & CGI.SCRIPT_NAME & CGI.PATH_INFO"/> (possible with CGI.QUERY_STRING added on the end also) I hope that's answered your question without confusing you further. :) On 3/13/07, Shawn Fawcett <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote:

I already have a ssl certificate set up to the site and am wondering how to go about it. I have an index.cfm in a members folder. I imagine in the index I would do something like cfif NEQ "https" replace ...but not quite sure where to start with the syntax. any help would be more than welcome.
