Hi Shaun

Not really an answer, but you'll probably have to consider putting a maximum
file size which you allow to upload (and validate it client side), otherwise
you are always come a cropper of either performance problems uploading large
files or disk space issues..

If you are uploading very large files via coldfusion, you might also want to
look at using the underlying Java routines available instead of CFFILE.

and look at filewriter.cfc and filereader.cfc You should also see a speed
increase.
