Ah, I see. I mean, yes, I knew that was the purpose of the Suggestions
attribute (which I mistakenly called autosuggest. Sorry.)

I knew it wouldn't be all that you wanted, but I thought perhaps the Status
attribute would help. It returns a structure of info about the query.

I had meant to add that little more and forgot (I often get distracted while
writing a note and come back to it later, so can slip up.) But now I see
that if I had, I would have tempered my hope in that, as I see the docs say
that it's connected to that Suggestions attribute. Bugger.

Oh well, I'd recommend you thrown this one to the Adobe forums. Sadly,
there's none on searching in particular, but try the Advanced techniques
one:

It sounds like a good question, so I hope you share your answer if you find
it.

Hi Charlie,

Yea, I tried that (but thanks anyway!) - the suggest engine seems only to
suggest mispelt words and doesn't actually return a list of keywords. This
would only make it useful as an autosuggest if someone mispelt the criteria.

Ie, I have a collection that contains 'hydro', 'hydrotherapy' and
'hydrotherapists'

Typing 'hydro' with suggestions on doesn't return any suggestions, I'm
guessing because it's spelt correctly. It also doesn't return suggestions
for 'hydrotherapy' etc either.

However, typing 'hidro' returns 'hydro' as a suggestion, but again, none of
the larger words. I'm guessing it's because the mistake isn't big enough of
a mispelling of 'hydrotherapists' to warrant it being suggested.

Still, it is a lovely feature and I'm using it as a correction feature when
presenting the main results.

ta, Rich
