I considered that, but couldn't make myself believe it was that daft.
This would mean spidering of your website is rendered useless as they
would only pick up the non-SEO prepared links?

Only thing usable then is sitemap.xml and product files uploaded to
comparison sites.

We've botched it and made a function to re-write all links in CF and
wrapped all references, but it's slow. So if that's the case I'll get
started and build a 2-way .Net mod implementation myself. That is if the
response actually goes through IIS on the way out obviously.

I don't use Isapi_rewrite, but I'd be surprised if it rewrites your
outgoing HTML links to the browser.

Usually, these things just rewrite incoming requests and map them to the
appropriate url for CF/other middleware to use.
