>- see footer for list info -< Kylie and Allan, If you are on CF8, then this process should be a lot easier with the new Ajax functions. The problem with these old twoselectsrelated methods is that it loads all the possible options for all the select lists into javascript arrays, which can result in a pretty big page size if you have big lists. Using Ajax, the only code in the initial page is the ajax library and your Javascript that populates the lists, all the data is only requested when needed from the server and only the required data is sent back. Now whether or not this is beneficial to you as far as page size or load times depends on the size of your select lists and whether you are re-using the ajax library elsewhere on your site. If you are only using it once and your lists are quite small, then this solution may not be the best. If however you have multiple areas of your site that will benefit from using Ajax, then you will definitely be making a saving, as remember, Javascript src files are only loaded once and then cached by the browser.
