>- see footer for list info -< The JVM caches all DNS lookups, so if the IP address of the URL has changed, it's still using the old IP (http://coldfused.blogspot.com/2008/01/dns-lookup-caching-in-coldfusionjava.html) Cycling the CF service should help
Also, if its a page local to the server, it's helped me before to add 127.0.0.1 to the hosts file and all the domains that it serving, so that whenever it calls a local site, it doesnt need to go out and go through the load balancer, it'll just hit it locally.
