Morning All,
A contact of mine who runs a portal built in CF is looking for a new
developer to join their ranks, they are only small but have an excellent
niche market with a recession proof vertical market (rare in the current
climate!!).
The person needs to have the following attributes:

Must be a self starter,
*
Keen,
*
Have good experience in both CF and SQL Server (inc triggers /
Stored Procs etc),
*
Preferably good knowledge of development frameworks i.e. fusebox
etc,
*
Be methodical and disciplined in terms of commenting and version
control, and general source management,
*
Good contributor and someone who can think about problems and bring
options back to the table, negativity is not something this company needs.
They are a growth company who has currently used a contractor for a long
period of time but wishes to get buy in from their employee. I have worked
with the company on and off for he last 7 years in an advisory capacity.
They have recently won an exciting tender to produce a system which will
mean meeting new people and being faced with new challenges. There system
needs updating to the next generation of web interface and this is your
opportunity to help steer them down that road.
The company is flexible in terms of pay for the right person and also
flexible in how they pay, i.e. salary and bonus, expense etc.
They are based in Berkshire (just outside of Aylesbury) so proximity to
their offices would be required, flexibility to work out of the office for
the right person with the right discipline however the roll is primarily
office based as there will be frequent brainstorming and collaborative
working sessions required in the early days.
