I would say that you are using the wrong decrypt key, or the encrypted
string has been altered.
To test this theory you need to encrypt something with that key and then
decrypt it again, if it works, then there is clearly no issues with the
code.

Hi all been a while.

 

My website has been hacked - AGAIN! - Its my fault and you'd think i'd learn
the first time.

 

Anothe SQL injection has killed the data unfortunately overwriting rather
than appending.... Damn!

 

 

One of the tables stores the customer details which is encrypted. 

I am trying to decrypt it but i keep getting...  

An error occurred while trying to encrypt or decrypt your input string: The
input and output encodings are not same..
 
Is there any way around this? The data looks ok. I would have expected the
usual rubbish in there if it had been overwritten.
 
Can anyone help
