>- see footer for list info -< While trying to consume webservice from other server (We are using cfhttp ).
We get the following error "I/O Exception: Name in certificate 'URL' does not match host name 'URL' The code works fine in development environment. Whereas, when we are trying to consume with/without the port number as 443 using cfhttp tag with method as post . It is throwing the above error. Environment : Coldfusion 8 SQL Server 2005 Webservice Provider: Java/J2EE. It appears that ColdFusion 8 does not support the "Subject Alternative Name" attribute of SSL certificates. The issue is that I need to use web services against <<www.testservie.com>> but, the certs is provided to <<www.service.com>> with <<www.testservice.com>> listed in the "Subject Alternative Name" attribute of the SSL. If we import the certificates as mentioned below, whether it will solve the issue ? http://livedocs.adobe.com/coldfusion/8/Tags_g-h_09.html http://www.talkingtree.com/blog/index.cfm/2004/7/1/keytool whether CF8 supports SSL v 3 ?, Please let us know -- Thanks & Regards, Sivakarthikeyan T _______________________________________________ For details on ALL mailing lists and for joining or leaving lists, go to http://list.cfdeveloper.co.uk/mailman/listinfo -- CFDeveloper Sponsors:- >- cfdeveloper Hosting provided by www.cfmxhosting.co.uk -< >- Lists hosted by www.Gradwell.com -< >- CFdeveloper is run by Russ Michaels, feel free to volunteer your help -<
