While trying to consume webservice from other server (We are using cfhttp ).

We get the following error

"I/O Exception: Name in certificate 'URL' does not match host name 'URL'

The code works fine in development environment. Whereas, when we are trying
to consume with/without the port number as 443 using cfhttp tag with method
as post .
It is throwing the above error.

Environment : Coldfusion 8
SQL Server 2005
Webservice Provider: Java/J2EE.
It appears that ColdFusion 8 does not support the "Subject Alternative Name"
attribute of SSL certificates.
The issue is that I need to use web services against <<www.testservie.com>>
but, the certs is provided to <<www.service.com>> with <<www.testservice.com>>
listed in the "Subject Alternative Name" attribute of the SSL.

If we import the certificates as mentioned below, whether it will solve the
issue ?

whether CF8 supports SSL v 3 ?, Please let us know
