Hi, Colm

I'll find out about the shipping and ask them to get in touch with you
on that.

As to the value of FB3, I find it really useful whether I'm in charge of
a big project or just doing something little on my own. I think, though,
that its value rises as the size and complexity of the job and the team
you're working with rises.

People sometimes tell me, "I don't need FB because I don't do big
complex jobs where I'm tead lead."

I usually ask them, "Would you LIKE to do that kind of job where you're
team lead? Because if so, the time to acquire those skills is BEFORE you
actually need to use them."

Hi Hal,

I hope you can become a regular contributor to this list and give us
some more insights into Fusebox. BTW I tried a while ago to preorder CFC
book which I very much look forward to getting, but the shopping cart
has a problem with calculating international shipping rates to whereIam,
Republic of Ireland, don`t know if it has same problem to UK or for
export in general. Also it`s a pity you are not giving some sessions at
Devcon in Orlando. Is it the case Fusebox mostly of value to large
projects shared among teams of developers in different locations and not
same corresponding value to small projects with a few developers apart
from the value of cfswitching in index.cfm and naming conventions
dsp_halspage.cfm (am I waving a red flag here:-))

cheers

Colm

Hi Spike,

I'd love to be a more regular participant but didn't want people to feel
I was intruding on their space. We have a term for that in America:
carpet-bagger. Comes from the time after our civil war when Yankees came
down to the south where they weren't wanted. They were conspicuous by
the big bags they lived out of. I appreciate the invitation to hang
around. It'll give me time to win Taz over!

Hi Hal,

Is this unusually high level of activity on our lowly cfug list a
precursor to a greater regularity of input (yes please), or are you just
feeling particularly generous with your time these days?

Great to hear from you by the way.

Spike
