I have seen one site that successfully disabled the Geocities popup but I
can't remember how it was done and the site has now moved hosts. I do know
that it was not perfect though. I got errors on IE 6 but it worked on all
other IE versions. It may have been as simple as just closing the popup as
soon as the page loads.
